"THE AVENGERS" (2012)

"The Avengers" (2012) starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, ETC. The movie is a must see, it does not disappoint on story line, action sequences, acting, comedy and special effects. I did not read the comics and I did not see Thor but I was not lost, the film will explain what is going on. There is an action sequence that starts with Hawkeye,  following his arrow as it passes by other heroes fighting their individuals battles, I was enthralled. To my surprise Tony Stark aka IRONMAN became the real standout and is now my favorite character. Most of the comedic spotlights were smart quips made by Tony so really listen to his lines, I feel like some of the references made were lost on the  audience. There were a few instances where I was bothered by the "believability factor" even for a comic. small things like when they DO NOT realize a small hand gun is no match for a fighter jet, I mean really??? there are more examples but i'd rather you saw it for yourself, I would love to know if you find any. BTW stay for the credits, there are 2 bonus scenes, one during the credits and one at the very end. I give it 4 out of 5 reels.

                          "The Fighter"(2010)

‎"The Fighter"(2010) Starring Mark Walhberg, Christian Bale, & Amy Adams.
This is my pick for best film i've seen this year with the exception of the latest Harry Potter. I am not a boxing fan, never cared much for the sport, but i found myself jumping out of my seat! both women and men will relate to this film. We see
great performances by the entire cast, every moment was authentic but Christian Bale is my front runner for the golden globe and academy award. If you haven't seen this movie, please do so, you wont regret it, i promise! I give it 5 out of 5 reels! please let me know what you thought of it.

‎"Avatar"(2009)

Starring Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver and Zoe Saldana. Ok so most people will kill me for saying this but it was ok. Im not into indigenous films, im not into sci-fi so of course this wouldnt be my cup of tea. I thought it to be a crossbreed of Terminator and Apocolypto. Im glad that this will not be the next new phenomenon to take over the industry like reality tv took over sitcoms. I prefer a film that shows me humankind and its imperfections portrayed through genius actors like Sir Anthony Hopkins and Meryl Streep. Was the CGI excellent?Yes. Was there a ton of action? Yes. Was there emotional parts? Yes. Was i most excited about it? NO. I would not sit thru another viewing of this film. To many of you this may discredit my film reviews but i like what i like. It may be for everyone but me, i will not be offended bc im sure many of you would not enjoy Citizen Kane as much as I do. I give it 2 & a half reels out of 5. Sue me...lol

"Remember Me"(2010)

‎Starring Robert Pattison and Emilie de Ravin. If you thought Robert Pattison was brooding in his more famous role as edwrd cullen in the twilight saga, boy are you ladies in for a treat. He is sexy, he is tortured, he is poetic, he is what most of us is looking for. ahhh ladies but again we are reminded that it is just a movie and that Doll face he's playing pretend housewife is not us :( Anywhoo back to the movie, i loved it! the end was really a shocker and made us feel things that were personal to everyone in the audience. Emilie De Ravin is someone i'd love to see more from, she reminded me of a cross between michelle williams and Diane Kreuger. There are great sub characters in the film played by Pierce Brosnan, Lena Olin, and Chris Cooper. If your looking for action this is not the film for you but if your looking for something that really gets into human relationships of all kinds then this IS the movie for you. i give it 4 oout of 5 reels

Hot Tub Time Machine (2010)

Starring John Cusak and Craig Robinson. Like most Cult classics they aren't appreciated until they are released on DVD.I didn't think i would like this movie but surprisingly i did and so did my boyfriend. it is rude, in your face, vulgar and full of one liners! its definitely a stoner flick, and one for the guys. was it the funniest? no but i didn't regret watching it sooooo i give it 3& a half reel

ECLIPSE

"Eclipse" 2010 starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson & Taylor Lautner. Yet again the first to report on a major film this summer, wow. When I first started watching the saga "Twilight" captured me and i found myself in awe of Robbi Pats as most of the women around me, then could not wait for "New Moon". It was an event I was most looking forward to only to be disappointed in the production of it. The acting was terrible and there wasn't much holding me to the series of events that took place, with the exception of the introduction of Jacob. In anticipating "Eclipse" i couldn't help think to myself "i hope it isn't as bleh as the second one. Well Ladies & Gents, you will not regret seeing this film. It was action packed, sexier, funnier, and heart wrenching. I will always be Team Edward but Jacob really stepped up his game in this one. There is a new Character named Riley, YUMMILISH! You feel the struggle within yourself on who bella should be with, more things are explained, silent characters stepped up and we could finally humanize them. I will not say too much but i will say go see this movie. I liked it alot, and Eddie more than ever still has mi corazon ♥ .....anywhoo i give it 3.5 reels out of 5. leave a lil comment if ya like or don't like this post k.

Sex And The City 2

"Sex and The City 2" 2010 starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. Of course i would have to be the first to report on the movie. This movie was great from the fashion, new york, the men, and of course sex. I must say that i do prefer the first movie, i felt that the writing was better and less repetitive. Never-the-less lets talk fashion, the colors and walking collages of fabulous fabrics were so excentric but sooo beautiful. There were funny moments, emotional moments, sexy moments, and Aidan ohhh Aidan. There were plenty of men to lust over but the biggest piece of eye candy goes to Rikard Spirit aka Dick real name Max ryan, i will attach a photo below. I would say if your a fan of the show then you will like this movie.  One last thing before i go, and i promise not to give anything away, if you asked what my fav funniest moment was i would only say Liza Minelli. the end. i give this film 4 out of 5 reels.
