"Alice in Wonderland" 2010

Starring Johnny Depp & Helena Bonham Carter is just plain amazing. I saw it today in 3D and fell in love yet again with a Tim Burton Masterpiece. With the exception of watching it in the worst theater ive ever been to. I thought bc it was a Tim Burton Film that it might be too dark for my nieces, but it wasn't bad at all. The colors in the film reminded me of Baz Lurhman's work, the costuming was amazing and wont be surprised if there is an Oscar nod for it next yr. The set designs, the actors, the CGI, ive never seen Alice in Wonderland quite like this, i prefer it to every version before it. In My Opinion a must see! 5 out of 5 reels!

"Julie & Julia" 2009

Starring Amy Adams and Meryl Streep. It took me until it was released on rental for me to see it, it wasn't one of those movies that made me feel like i had to go out right away and see it. annnnd i was right. I enjoyed the film very much, but if you do not want to rent then trust me you can wait til it comes out free "on demand". I loved the way the 2 stories were told, just as you forgot about the other character's story they switch the scene and you are back in their life. Meryl was great, as always, and Amy was cute as always. The best thing about this movie is how Julia Child came to be, i found myself wanting to buy her cook book. I still might, will keep you posted. 3 out of 5 reel
